I did have to wait longer than expected but I also understand that sometimes things come up that was unexpected and you may have to wait a little longer. I was referred to magnolia dental to see Doctor Blanco. I made an appointment and was placed with doctor Hernandez instead. I do suffer from severe dental anxiety and explained that to the staff and they were very welcoming. Checking in and getting my x rays done was a very pleasant experience.They made me extremely comfortable. I was introduced to Dr. Hernandez and the tech also let the dr know I had bad anxiety and would prefer her not to discuss everything in front of me, only the two issues I was having and that I wanted to review any other recommendations at a later date or at home and would reach out with any questions. The dr then turned around and began looking at my x.Rays on the computer two feet behind my head and started rattling off thousands of dollars in dental work to her assistant like I wasn't in the room and hadn't just asked her not to do that. I stopped her and and reminded her how bad my anxiety was and that I could not handle sitting in the room, listening to her talk about thousands in repairs like I wasn't even there after I JUST asked her not to do that. She told me that was procedure and said, this is just based on the x.Rays, now let's look in your mouth. My estimate on the screen went from over 12k down to 4k after I made a fuss and explained why I felt the things she was saying were all money grabs and not the best method for tooth preservation as this was my main goal. One of the issues I have is a small cavity between an implant and my molar. This implant I have is a screwed on one for easy removal, cleaning and access/repair. In fact, she saw this because the cap for my implant screw had come out and on her estimate she quoted " 250" to cover that screw. Yet we were talking about that filling and I suggested it would be much easier to repair/ examine if she would remove the implant crown. She then lied right to my face and told me to it was cemented in and they would have to break it and give me a new crown for $1500 in order to do that. I have had it removed and replace before so I am 100% sure she lied. At that point I knew she was not the dentist for me. She is money hungry and I could tell that by all the expensive finishes in their waiting room. Elaborate marble covered waiting rooms with l.E.D fireplaces ( especially when you're in florida ) should have been the red flag for me. I asked to see Blanco when I returned instead of her and was told that wasn't possible because she was my dentist now and that was his wife. It's a great place if you want tons of prosthetic teeth and unnecessary work to pay for all their fancy finishes and the beautiful family that they're building the finest, fanciest life for. If you are looking for somebody that's affordable, somebody that cares about preserving teeth , biological dentistry or anybody that is concerned with you as a person, this isn't your place.

Incredible experience, the front staff were very kind and professional. Dr chang and Peggy were also very helpful, not only did they help ease my dental anxiety but they were great at explaining everything to me about my dental plan. Will definitely be going again.

Magnolia Dental WOW! fantastic experience from the from the beginning I walked into the office. Everything was absolutely sparkling clean staff was very professional. They We’re flexible with my appointment. I had a bridge. Replaced Dr. Blanco very professional knowledgeable and very caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Blanco. He has a very professional and caring.I won’t go any place else.
