Meet Summerfield Dentist, Dr. Susana Hernandez

Dr. Susana Hernandez is a General Dentist who has been practicing in the Ocala community since 2017, she is a native of Cuba and came to the United States at the age of 21. After 2 years of dental education in Cuba, she attended undergraduate school at Florida International University in Miami where she majored in Biology. Before attending dental school at the University of Florida in Gainesville she worked as a certified dental assistant for 4 years serving the elderly and the senior community of Miami.

She joined Dr. Blanco at Magnolia Dental in August 2019 and her experience has been delightful. “I feel very fortunate to serve as a dentist in the Villages community, alongside my husband,” Dr. Hernandez says. “And I want to thank our patients for their continuing support of our office.”

Dr. Hernandez is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Marion County Dental Association. She strongly believes in the value of continuing education and routinely takes continuing education courses in the areas of Endodontics, Occlusion, Implant dentistry, and Cosmetics, in addition, she is a graduate of the prestigious Dawson Academy.

When not at the office Dr. Hernandez enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
