Meet Yilian Laborde Chang, DMD

Dr. Chang was also born and raised in Cuba, she graduated as a dentist in July 2014 from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana obtaining a strong academic foundation.

Before arriving in the United States in 2016 she was able to practice dentistry in Venezuela and Colombia. This experience allowed her to increase her knowledge on other communities and ethnicities.

While preparing to go back to dental school she worked as a certified dental assistant for 3 years in North Carolina where she expanded her skills and became more inspired about high quality dentistry.

Dr. Chang received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University where she enjoyed being part of the Terrier family. After graduation in 2022 she moved to Florida where she has taken numerous continuing education courses to be able provide the latest treatments in dental care, including Implant Dentistry, Clear Aligners Therapy and Cosmetic dentistry. She joined Magnolia Dental in October 2022 where she has been serving our community, encouraging patients throughout the entire dental journey and giving her best to form a genuine relationship with them.

When she is not focused on creating healthy and beautiful smiles, Dr Chang enjoys traveling and exploring other cultures with her husband, as well as reading a good book or watching a classic movie.
